This 22nd August 2024 at La Palisse Nyamata Hotel in Bugesera district, RALGA in collaboration with Bugesera district conducted the stakeholder dialogue meeting to reflect on local strategies to reinforce collaboration to advance inclusive and participatory district land use master plan implementation in urban areas.
The meeting concludes the 3 day UMUJYI WANJYE CAMPAIGN. The campaign was marked by sector level citizen representives sensitization meetings, live radio program and the district level stakeholder dialogue meeting. Key outcomes are increased awareness and understanding of community representatives of master plan provisions, planned City inclusivity enablers, and suitable options of collaborative approach of master plan implementation such as neighborhood physical plan development.
Also, it contributed to improved understanding of stakeholders on needed partnership with district to realize planned catalytic projects and needed built up transformations to meet proposed urban design. The activity is funded under Globe Rwanda project/RALGA-VVSG partnership. Other key partners to this activity are: MININFRA and NLA.
